Reminiscing...

Happy Monday! I dislike Monday's, but I'm certainly trying to make the best of this one... It's been a LONG weekend.

Friday night I got food poisoning - ick! gross! cooties! nasty! I was up all night purging the yuck from my body. Saturday was *rough* to say the least. Tyler took me to Urgent Care Saturday night and I got some medications to calm my nausea. I slept pretty good, but was still a bit rocky on Superbowl Sunday. I made it to work today and felt pretty productive. Thank god for Facebook - I know who won the Superbowl without even watching - Go Saints! Laissez Le Bon Temps de Rouler!!

It's days like today that I wish I was on my honeymoon again :) And since I've yet to share pictures on the blog - here's a quick recap of our 10-day trip to Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico:

View of Banderas Bay from the Plane

Downtown Clock Tower

View of the Resort Pool from our Hotel Suite

View of the Ocean from our Hotel Suite

Discovering Downtown Puerto Vallarta
Tyler on the Malecon (boulevard)

Being Seaside was awesome... it's been awhile!

We Discovered Senor Frogs!
The sign behind Tyler says "Horny-Mooners"

When you order a BIG beer, be prepared for the staff to drink your first one!

Obviously a very fun place to throw back a few brews and watch the culture.

Tyler spent almost every night at the ocean's edge...

A Pirate Ship Booze-Cruise!

Our Host - Roc!

Miss America (me) singing La Cucaracha

One of the best events by far... we enjoyed it so much!

Las Animas

Yelapa (my favorite seaside town on the bay)
and my new friend, Pedro.

Bucerias (great seafood - our favorite meal on the trip!)

Las Marietas Islands

Via 1800's Dutch Cast Iron Sail Boat

What a perfect day for snorkeling!

We even had some friends join us along side the boat...

Absolutely breathtaking - we're so fortunate to have seen these creatures in nature :)

The Outdoor Adventure was Awesome! Very Challenging!

We rode burrows WAY up the mountain and zip-lined back down.

Tyler was a natural at repelling the rock wall.

After some apprehension, I got the hang of it!

We bumped into some of my old High School friends downtown! Crazy!

Back at the hotel for some much needed R&R... and the biggest drink we've ever seen!
Coco Loco, SO CUTE!

Tyler couldn't get enough of the water slide :)
He'll always be a kid at heart!

Thank you Mom and Don for giving us a vacation we'll never forget - we love you very much! We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return with you someday. **Viva Vallarta**
